Musandam

Musandam is projecting into the Strait of Hormuz and separated from the rest of Oman by the United Arab Emirates.

The region is known as “Fjords of Oman” due to its mountainous coastline that features fjord-like inlets called khors, cruises in traditional Dhows and Khasab is the capital of the region with its Fort from 17th-century.

City tour Khasab

The city tour provides you with a drive through the different city districts of Khasab with its Old Town and modern New City. Visit of the Grand Sultan Qaboos Mosque and there is time for a stroll around the city. Visit the Khasab fort, which was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century before the drive to Wadi Qada. At the end of the Wadi in the village Tawi you can explore prehistoric rock carvings depicting camels, ships and warriors, said to be more than 2.000 years old…

Half day or Full day Dhow cruise

Enjoy a Half Day or Full Day Dhow Cruise to Khor Sham with a traditionally decorated Omani wooden Dhow in azure water through a majestic fjord (Khor), surrounded by spectacular mountains and serene remote white sand beaches. At the entrance of the fjord you might have a glimpse of dolphins before the Dhow will anchor at Telegraph Island and Seebi Island. There is time for swimming and snorkeling, and refreshments are offered (lunch during full day).

There is the option for overnight on a traditional Dhow.

Half day or Full day Mountain Safari

The tour includes scenic routes through mountain and valleys, the visit of an ancient village and the lush natural park of Khalidiya with its acacia trees.
